Software Engineer - Grow & Engage Domain (Remote)

About the Role

Join us as a Software Engineer in the Grow & Engage domain at N26, where you will play a crucial role in enhancing the customer experience. What You'll Do

• Engage in the full software development lifecycle, including discovery, design, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance.
• Collaborate with your team to manage project priorities and deliverables while participating in knowledge-sharing sessions.
• Stay updated with the latest technology trends and propose new ideas during our GSDD (Get Stuff Done Days).
• Utilize your experience in JVM languages and Spring Boot to develop scalable software solutions.
• Work with microservice architecture and both relational and non-relational databases, with a preference for Postgres.

Requirements

• Experience developing software using JVM languages, particularly with Spring Boot.
• Familiarity with microservice architecture and cloud environments, preferably AWS.
• Understanding of relational and non-relational databases.
• Strong motivation to write well-tested and documented code.
• Ability to provide and receive constructive feedback in a team setting.

Nice to Have

• Experience with Kotlin is a plus.
• Prior experience in a fast-paced, agile environment.
• Interest in security best practices in software development.
