Maintenance Technician Apprentice - Remote Opportunity

About the Role

We are looking for a Maintenance Technician Apprentice to join Spectrum Safety Solutions. This remote opportunity allows you to gain hands-on experience in fire protection system maintenance while working under the guidance of experienced technicians. As a Maintenance Technician Apprentice, you will develop the necessary skills to advance to a full technician role upon successful completion of your training.

What You'll Do

• Participate in preventive maintenance visits on fire protection systems installed at client sites.
• Assist technicians in control, testing, and verification operations of equipment.
• Contribute to identifying anomalies or malfunctions in installations.
• Help update technical information regarding installations.
• Accompany technicians during troubleshooting interventions on-site.
• Participate in diagnosing failures and identifying causes of malfunctions.
• Assist in replacing or adjusting equipment as needed.
• Help with minor maintenance and improvement tasks on installations.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in a Bac +2 or Bac +3 program in Electrotechnics, Systems Maintenance, Industrial Engineering, or equivalent technical training.
• Basic knowledge of electricity, electrotechnics, or industrial maintenance.
• Interest in technical systems and industrial environments.
• Proficiency in basic computer tools (Office Suite).
• Willingness to learn and adapt in a technical environment.

Nice to Have

• Experience in customer service or client interactions.
• Knowledge of safety and environmental regulations.
• Driver's license (B) for site visits with technicians.
