Legal Data Engineer - Remote Opportunity
About the Role
Join Delivery Hero as a Legal Data Engineer and help us optimize and automate our legal processes globally. This remote Legal Data Engineer position offers you the chance to work with cutting-edge technologies and make a significant impact within our organization.
What You'll Do
- Design, build, and maintain integrations connecting our primary legal platform, Onit, with tools like Ariba/SAP, Jira, Google Cloud, Slack, and DocuSign.
- Create scalable data pipelines, databases, and data models to support reporting, contract lifecycle management, and operational analytics.
- Implement AI-based solutions using Google Enterprise and Vertex AI, acting as an internal consultant to drive innovation.
- Automate end-to-end legal workflows using tools such as Google Apps Script, Google Cloud, and n8n.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to identify opportunities for automation and process optimization, translating operational challenges into technical solutions.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in software engineering, scripting, automation, or integrations.
- Strong hands-on experience with Python and SQL; familiarity with JavaScript is a plus.
- Experience designing and building data warehouses and integrations within Google Cloud.
- Exposure to AI/ML concepts or tools, particularly Vertex AI SDK and BigQuery.
- Strong ownership and consultancy mindset, with the ability to prioritize based on business needs.

- Consultancy and/or Legal Tech experience.
