Director of Human Resources - Remote Cybersecurity Company
About the Role
We are seeking a Director of Human Resources to join our innovative team at Trinity Cyber, a leader in cybersecurity technology. This remote Director of Human Resources position offers a unique opportunity to shape HR practices in a rapidly growing company that is revolutionizing the cybersecurity landscape. You will report directly to the VP of Human Resources and play a pivotal role in expanding our HR programs and processes.
What You'll Do
- Serve as a trusted HR advisor to all levels of staff, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws.
- Oversee talent acquisition efforts by developing sourcing strategies, conducting interviews, and onboarding new employees.
- Implement and maintain HRIS and applicant tracking systems to streamline HR processes.
- Manage vendor relationships and benefit administration partners to enhance employee benefits.
- Communicate changes to payroll processors to ensure accurate payroll processing.
- Maintain and update company policies and procedures, ensuring they are communicated effectively to all employees.
- Assist in the administration of stock option programs and ensure compliance with benefits-related regulations.
- Contribute to a positive company culture by promoting HR best practices and supporting employee engagement initiatives.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or a related field, with a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience.
- A master’s degree in HR or a related field is preferred.
- Experience in an HR supervisory or management role, preferably in a technology-focused company.
- Knowledge of HRIS and applicant tracking systems, with experience in ADP payroll systems and NetSuite preferred.
- Strong understanding of employment laws and HR best practices, particularly in benefits administration.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly to senior leadership.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, managing change and ambiguity effectively.
- SPHR/PHR or SHRM-CP/SCP certification is preferred.
Nice to Have
- Experience with equity compensation plans and administration.
- Familiarity with LinkedIn Recruiter and other job boards for candidate sourcing.
