Lead QA Automation Software Engineer - Remote Position

About the Role

LearnWorlds is seeking a Lead QA Automation Software Engineer to join their fully remote team, based in Greece or Cyprus. As a Lead QA Automation Software Engineer, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the quality of our cloud-based e-learning platform. This position offers the opportunity to lead a team of automated software testers and ensure that our solutions meet the highest standards of quality and performance.

What You'll Do

• Lead a team of automated software testers, ensuring effective collaboration and high-quality output.
• Design and implement automated testing frameworks using tools such as Playwright, Selenium, and Cypress.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
• Identify and resolve issues in the testing process, enhancing the overall efficiency of the QA team.
• Stay updated with the latest trends in QA automation and integrate AI-powered coding tools to improve testing processes.

Requirements

• Greek native or near-native language proficiency.
• Based in Greece or Cyprus with the right to work in Europe.
• At least 5 years of hands-on engineering experience with QA automation tools and frameworks.
• Successfully led a team of automated software testers (at least 3 people) for more than one year.
• Familiarity with AI-powered coding tools such as GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT, or similar.

Nice to Have

• Experience with additional testing frameworks or tools.
• Knowledge of agile methodologies.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
