Lead HR Partner - Manufacturing (Remote)
About the Role
We're hiring a Lead HR Partner - Manufacturing (Remote) to join our team at GE Aerospace. This role is pivotal in supporting our manufacturing workforce in McAllen, Texas, specializing in the repair of engine components for commercial and military aircraft. As a Lead HR Partner, you'll be a strategic and hands-on partner to operations leaders, driving key outcomes in Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost.
What You'll Do
- Act as the first point of contact for HR-related questions, guiding employees and managers through self-service and HR resources.
- Lead and conduct essential HR processes including recruiting, onboarding, and orientation to support our growth.
- Provide coaching and guidance to leaders and employees on HR fundamentals and people leadership.
- Ensure consistent application of policies and procedures, promoting an ethical and compliant work environment.
- Execute recruiting action plans, including outreach to technical schools for talent pipelines.
- Deliver training on Front-Line Leadership and maintain accurate HRIS data integrity.
- Conduct impartial investigations and manage case closure timelines effectively.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with EHS, Quality, Production, and Payroll to ensure consistent policy application.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college in a related area or 4 years of HR experience in an unrelated field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in Human Resources or relevant work experience.
- Knowledge of LEAN methodologies and prior HR experience in a manufacturing setting is preferred.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems effectively.
