Lead Finance Business Partner - Remote Opportunity

About the Role

We are seeking a Lead Finance Business Partner to join Paddle's dynamic team. This remote position allows you to work from anywhere in Ireland, the Netherlands, Portugal, or the UK. As a Lead Finance Business Partner, you will play a pivotal role in bridging the gap between financial insight and commercial execution, driving profitable growth and investment efficiency.

What You'll Do

• Build financial partnerships with key stakeholders in functions such as Product, GTM, and Operations, becoming a trusted advisor on resource allocation and commercial strategy.
• Drive insights from Paddle’s key metrics (GMV, take rate, CAC, LTV, NRR, churn) into actionable recommendations that influence business direction.
• Support business case development for strategic initiatives like pricing strategy and market expansion.
• Partner with the Senior Director of FP&A and CFO to support board-level reporting and strategic narratives.
• Support the evolution of Paddle’s planning models to bridge financial targets with operational execution.
• Build and deliver management reporting and dashboards that ensure finance insights are timely and decision-oriented.
• Develop expertise in Paddle’s transaction-based revenue model, optimizing unit economics and improving capital efficiency.
• Contribute to building a high-performing FP&A culture that values clarity, ownership, and collaboration.

Requirements

• Commercially astute and strategically minded, with the ability to connect financial data to business outcomes.
• Exceptional business partner with strong stakeholder management skills.
• Technically strong in FP&A fundamentals, proficient in financial modeling and forecasting.
• Comfortable with complexity and ambiguity, thriving in scale-up environments.
• Detail-oriented with strong executive presence, able to present confidently to C-level stakeholders.

• Experience in SaaS, payments, or transaction-based business models.
