Director of Data-Driven Decisioning - Remote

About the Role

We are seeking a Director of Data-Driven Decisioning to join our team in a fully remote capacity. In this role, you will lead the transformation of advanced analytics and internal data assets into compelling narratives that support strategic sales plans and position us as a leader in data-driven decisioning.

What You'll Do

• Manage our strategy, grounded in data analysis and empirical thoughtfulness.
• Use Python and SQL to independently explore datasets, validate hypotheses, and surface unique insights.
• Translate analytical findings and model outputs into clear, market-facing narratives that demonstrate value.
• Develop industry perspectives on credit lifecycle optimization, alternative data, and machine learning adoption.
• Support large strategic sales opportunities with analytical framing and data-driven proof points.
• Create executive-ready content including industry reports, white papers, and sales enablement decks.
• Collaborate with Data Science teams to validate assumptions and ensure analytical rigor in published insights.
• Identify new industry trends using both qualitative indicators and quantitative evidence.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in data science, analytics, or financial services consulting.
• Proficiency in Python (Pandas, NumPy, SciPy) for exploratory analysis.
• Advanced SQL skills for querying large datasets.
• Experience with data-driven decisioning and analytics.
• Familiarity with machine learning concepts and their application in decisioning systems.
• Understanding of regulatory and compliance considerations related to data usage.
• Experience in leadership and market analytics enablement roles.
• Experience speaking at conferences or industry forums.

Nice to Have

• Background in client-facing consulting or pre-sales analytics.
• Experience interpreting model performance metrics.
• Knowledge of credit attributes, scores, or decision engines.
