Lead Color Designer - Footwear (Remote)

About the Role

We are seeking a talented Lead Color Designer to join our team remotely. This role is perfect for someone who is passionate about color design and wants to make a significant impact in the footwear industry. As a Lead Color Designer, you will work closely with various teams to drive seasonal color design concepts for footwear, ensuring that our products resonate with consumers and reflect current trends.

What You'll Do

• Establish seasonal color direction and strategy for footwear products.
• Collaborate with Material Designers, Graphic Designers, and Product Management teams to create engaging narratives and product storytelling.
• Lead the color design process across Men’s and Women’s collections, setting distinct color and material directions.
• Present design concepts to internal and external audiences, effectively communicating design intent.
• Manage multiple projects and timelines while maintaining high-quality standards.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in color design, graphic design, fashion design, or a related field.
• 3-5 years of experience in color design, specifically for footwear or apparel.
• Strong knowledge of color theory, textiles, and footwear construction.
• Professional proficiency in design software such as Illustrator and Photoshop.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to translate consumer insights into thoughtful narratives.

Nice to Have

• Experience with Miro or similar collaborative tools.
• Understanding of emerging design and fashion trends in sportswear and streetwear.
• Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
