Lead Analytics Engineer - Remote Opportunity

About the Role

We are seeking a Lead Analytics Engineer to join our team at Ramsey Solutions, a renowned name in personal finance. This remote position allows you to work from anywhere while leading a team of talented analysts who drive decision-making across our consumer businesses. You will play a pivotal role in transforming complex data into actionable insights that fuel growth and profitability.

What You'll Do

• Lead a high-performing analytics team, ensuring reliable and actionable data for confident decision-making.
• Design, build, and optimize data pipelines and transformations using SQL, Python, dbt, Airflow, Snowflake, and AWS Redshift.
• Define and standardize metrics, reporting, and experimentation frameworks to enhance data-informed decision-making.
• Implement validation, monitoring, and governance processes to ensure data quality and consistency.
• Communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders to translate key information needs into scalable analytics solutions.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience as an analytics engineer, data analyst, or in a similar role.
• Proficiency in SQL and Python.
• Experience with data modeling, dimensional modeling, and data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Looker, Plotly, Streamlit).
• Familiarity with cloud-based data platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) is a plus.
• Strong communication skills to engage with diverse stakeholders.

• Experience with data warehousing and ETL/ELT processes.
