Chemical Technician - Remote Opportunity
About the Role
We are looking for a Chemical Technician - Remote Opportunity to join our team at BASF. In this role, you will play a crucial part in our Agricultural Solutions division, contributing to sustainable farming practices and innovative solutions. What You'll Do
- Manage the operation, monitoring, and cleaning of production facilities according to operational guidelines.
- Identify, resolve, and document any disruptions in the production process, implementing measures for optimization.
- Document necessary operational parameters and ensure proper handover of shifts.
- Conduct maintenance and minor repairs as per operational instructions and perform regular checks.
- Adhere to all relevant safety and environmental regulations, actively identifying potential hazards.
- Collaborate closely with the safety department to report unsafe actions, conditions, and incidents.
- Prepare for maintenance work and instruct on-site technicians in coordination with shift leaders.
- Handle the filling and labeling of materials, product filling, and disposal of waste, as well as conducting sampling and analysis.
Requirements
- Completed training as a Chemical Technician or equivalent.
- Several years of relevant professional and production experience.
- Strong practical skills and knowledge of operational and process engineering, as well as safety, health, and environmental protection.
- Proficient in using SAP R/3 PM (ProSys, ISys, EnSys).
- Excellent communication skills in German and basic knowledge of English.
