Lead Administrator - Remote Opportunity

About the Role

We are seeking a Lead Administrator remote to join our dynamic team at WHSmith. In this pivotal role, you will oversee the Buying Assistants and ensure the smooth operation of our Buying team. Your contributions will directly impact our ability to introduce new ranges to stores and enhance our overall customer experience.

What You'll Do

• Oversee the workload across the Buying Admin function, driving continuous improvement in processes.
• Manage the setup and maintenance of product lines and ranges.
• Sourcing new line information from suppliers and managing store communications for category activations.
• Maintain pricing and promotions for the category, ensuring competitive checks are in place.
• Oversee promotional activities, including raising invoices and managing margin funding.
• Conduct ad hoc data analysis to support decision-making.

Requirements

• Previous experience in commercial or retail administration.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
• Strong organizational and administrative skills.
• Resilience and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent numerical and problem-solving skills.

Nice to Have

• Experience in a retail buying environment.
• Familiarity with inventory management systems.
