Junior Product Management & Purchasing Associate - Remote

About the Role

We are looking for a Junior Product Management & Purchasing Associate to join our team at Genuine Parts Company. As a Junior Product Management & Purchasing Associate, you will have the chance to develop your skills in purchasing and assortment management in a supportive environment.

What You'll Do

• Support Product Managers in optimizing product assortment performance.
• Analyze data to report on results, costs, deviations, and market developments.
• Collect, verify, and process data to support purchasing and assortment decisions.
• Identify and implement improvements in processes and operational management.
• Maintain contact with suppliers and evaluate new products.
• Advise on purchasing opportunities and assortment expansions to the Product (Group) Manager.
• Support the network by visiting sales points and initiating marketing actions.

Requirements

• Strong analytical skills with a passion for working with data to drive improvements.
• Structured and meticulous work style with the ability to identify opportunities and challenges.
• Proactive, results-oriented, and customer-focused team player.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent (HBO level).
• Technical insight and affinity with automotive is a plus.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Fluent in Dutch and English, both written and spoken.
• Full-time availability (40 hours per week).

Nice to Have

• Experience in product management or purchasing.
• Familiarity with data analysis tools.
• Interest in the automotive industry.
