Client Principal - Remote Role at Scott Logic

About the Role

We are seeking a Client Principal - Remote to join our team at Scott Logic. In this role, you will be responsible for driving business growth by developing strategic relationships with new clients in the public sector. You will act as a trusted advisor, understanding client needs and delivering innovative solutions that create measurable value.

What You'll Do

• Lead the full sales lifecycle, from identifying prospects to negotiating contracts and managing long-term relationships.
• Develop mutually beneficial account strategies to generate new business with existing clients.
• Work closely with the Sales Development Team, Partnership Team, and Marketing Team to support lead identification.
• Maintain meeting schedules and notes in Salesforce, converting leads to opportunities as they develop.
• Build and maintain strong, long-lasting client relationships by developing “trusted advisor” status with key accounts.
• Support thought leadership and brand-building efforts in the public sector, representing Scott Logic at industry events.
• Forecast, track, and report key account metrics and progress.

Requirements

• Knowledge of the Public Sector tender processes, including Government Frameworks applicable to Central Government.
• Experience in a public sector technology consulting role, including knowledge of technology delivery and agile methodologies.
• Proven experience of building strong customer relationships and establishing credibility with senior leaders.
• Ability to communicate, present, and influence effectively at all levels of the customer organization.
• Strategic thinker with the ability to translate concepts into practical actions and create value propositions for clients.

Nice to Have

• Experience working in a business development environment within the UK Public Sector.
• Familiarity with Salesforce or similar CRM tools.
• Experience in leading teams or projects.
