IT Project Manager - Remote Option Available

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced IT Project Manager to join our team at AO Foundation. This IT Project Manager remote position offers the opportunity to lead technology projects that are critical to our mission. You will be responsible for planning, executing, and delivering projects on time and within budget, ensuring alignment with our organizational goals.

What You'll Do

• Lead end-to-end project management for IT initiatives including software deployments, infrastructure upgrades, and cloud migrations.
• Define project scope, goals, deliverables, timelines, resource needs, and budget while creating and maintaining detailed project plans.
• Collaborate with business owners, technical teams, and external partners to ensure project alignment and facilitate regular communication.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams, promoting strong teamwork and accountability.
• Ensure compliance with IT standards, security policies, and regulatory requirements through quality assurance and governance.
• Manage project budgets, forecasts, and financial tracking, including vendor management if applicable.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or related field.
• 3–7 years of experience in IT project management or leading technology initiatives.
• Proven track record in delivering complex IT projects with a solid understanding of IT infrastructure and cloud technologies.
• Experience with Service Now (ITSM) and project management tools such as Microsoft Project, Azure DevOps, or Jira.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities, with excellent problem-solving skills.
• Fluency in English is required; knowledge of German or other languages is a plus.

Nice to Have

• Certifications such as PMP, PRINCE2, or Agile certifications (e.g., PSM, CSM).
