Internship - Exploring Beyond Conversational Chatbots

About the Role

We are offering an exciting opportunity for an Internship in AI focused on exploring innovative approaches beyond traditional conversational chatbots. As an intern, you will engage in applied research that aims to redefine how business users interact with applications using agentic server-side business layers. This internship will allow you to delve into the potential of combining traditional web user interfaces with the power of AI, specifically Large Language Models (LLMs).

What You'll Do

• Formulate research questions and hypotheses regarding the limitations of conversational UIs for business workflows.
• Study and compare agentic architectures, including planner-executor and tool-calling systems.
• Propose a novel interaction model between agentic business layers and traditional web UI components.
• Design and evaluate UI-agent contracts that enable dynamic generation of forms and workflows.
• Implement experimental prototypes based on your research and refine them iteratively.
• Define evaluation criteria to compare chat-based interfaces with structured agent-driven interfaces.
• Analyze results to identify design patterns and architectural principles for enterprise-grade UIs.
• Produce a comprehensive report synthesizing your research contributions and experimental results.

Requirements

• Strong interest in Large Language Models (GPT, Claude) and Generative AI.
• Some proficiency in Python and web technologies.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a multicultural team environment.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication skills in English.

Nice to Have

• Experience with UI design principles.
• Familiarity with business process modeling.
• Previous experience in research or internships related to AI.
