Head of Facility Management - Remote Opportunity

About the Role

We are seeking a Head of Facility Management to join our dynamic team at Taskrunner. This remote opportunity allows you to lead and innovate in the facility management sector while working from anywhere. As the Head of Facility Management, you will oversee a growing team of over 20 employees, with plans to expand to over 100 by the end of 2027. You will play a crucial role in implementing and improving processes within the department, utilizing digital software solutions to enhance efficiency.

What You'll Do

• Lead and manage a team of facility management professionals, ensuring high performance and engagement.
• Continuously implement and improve departmental processes, integrating digital solutions for better workflow.
• Coordinate and implement a shift and on-call readiness concept to ensure operational efficiency.
• Establish, manage, and adhere to KPIs across various employee levels.
• Maintain oversight of ongoing tasks, providing guidance and support to team leads and their teams.
• Engage with technical clients at the highest levels, ensuring their needs are met.
• Plan, accompany, and award complex tenders for technical and infrastructural trades.
• Organize and strategically develop our software for building maintenance.

Requirements

• Completed studies in Facility Management, Building Management, Civil Engineering, Management, or a comparable field, or equivalent training with relevant professional experience.
• Several years of experience in facility management and collaboration with external trades.
• Strong leadership experience in developing and managing teams.
• High IT affinity and the ability to adapt processes independently.
• Experience in working with management and processing large data sets.
• Fluent in German and proficient in English.
• Strong communication and assertiveness skills.

Nice to Have

• Experience with digital facility management tools.
• Knowledge of sustainability practices in facility management.
• Project management certification.
