Director of Quality and Patient Safety - Remote Opportunity

About the Role

We are seeking a Director of Quality and Patient Safety to join our team at CommonSpirit Health. This remote position offers a unique opportunity to lead quality improvement initiatives that enhance patient care and safety across our healthcare facilities. As the Director, you will be instrumental in making data-driven decisions that ensure our patients receive the highest quality of care, resulting in positive health outcomes.

What You'll Do

• Lead ongoing quality improvement initiatives in collaboration with healthcare professionals.
• Analyze data and implement strategies for performance improvements, quality outcomes, and risk mitigation.
• Utilize your clinical practice and operational experience to foster a culture of continuous improvement.
• Manage projects effectively to ensure teams progress with current initiatives.
• Contribute to the development of a new patient tower, enhancing healthcare services in the community.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a healthcare-related field or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of five years of progressive management experience in a healthcare setting.
• Two years of experience managing a Quality Improvement Program in an acute care organization.
• Current State License in a clinical field or equivalent experience.
• Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality (CPHQ) or similar certification within two years of employment.

Nice to Have

• Knowledge of quality management methods and tools.
• Experience with Six Sigma or LEAN methodologies.
• Familiarity with accreditation and regulatory requirements.

What We Offer

• Competitive salary with a range of $69.27 - $103.04 per hour, translating to an annual salary of approximately $144,000 - $214,000.
