Graphics Pipeline Architect Engineer - Remote Opportunity

About the Role

We are seeking a talented Graphics Pipeline Architect Engineer to join our team at Renesas Electronics. This remote opportunity allows you to define and specify graphic processing and display output pipelines for future System on Chips (SoCs). You will analyze customer requirements and market use cases, focusing on graphic processing and display output. Your expertise will be crucial in collaborating with international design teams to translate logical architectures into physical architectures.

What You'll Do

• Define and specify the logical architecture using system models.
• Conduct requirement elicitation from lead customers and global markets.
• Define the hardware/software partitioning for the graphics pipeline.
• Collaborate with design teams to discuss and agree on physical architecture.
• Apply high-level evaluations and simulations to verify proposed architectures.
• Support customer RFQ feedback and present graphics pipeline architecture to clients.
• Work independently in an international team while maintaining effective communication with internal stakeholders.
• Utilize your knowledge in requirements engineering to enhance project outcomes.

Requirements

• Academic degree in Computer Science, Electronics, or a related field.
• Proficiency in graphic processing and display output.
• Experience with software and operating system architecture.
• Strong programming skills in C, C++, or C#.
• Experience in embedded programming and scripting languages like Python.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in an international setting.
• Excellent communication skills in English, both spoken and written.

Nice to Have

• Knowledge of model-based concept engineering.
• Familiarity with automotive development processes and standards such as A-Spice and ISO26262.
• Working knowledge of ARM 64-bit architectures, particularly R-CAR products.
