Full-Stack Software Engineer - Remote Position in Education Tech

About the Role

We are hiring a Full-Stack Software Engineer remote to join our innovative team at TalentXM. This role is perfect for engineers who thrive in collaborative, distributed environments and are passionate about building impactful products. You will be working on a modern Education member-management platform that serves administrators, instructors, and students in the fitness and wellness sectors.

What You’ll Do

• As a Full-Stack Software Engineer remote, you will develop both front-end and back-end features for our platform.
• Build and maintain front-end components using React.
• Develop backend services and APIs using Node.js.
• Design and maintain REST and GraphQL APIs.
• Work with relational and non-relational databases to ensure data integrity and performance.
• Implement Express-based backend services and integrate third-party services like CRMs and payment platforms.
• Ensure applications are responsive and user-friendly across devices.
• Collaborate with designers to create clean, accessible interfaces.
• Participate in Scrum ceremonies and contribute to agile delivery processes.

Requirements

• Fluent written and spoken English.
• 2+ years of experience with React in building production web applications.
• 2+ years of experience with Node.js.
• Strong experience with TypeScript.
• Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and modern JavaScript.
• Experience building RESTful APIs using Express.
• Experience working with GraphQL.
• Hands-on experience with relational and non-relational databases.

Nice to Have

• Experience with Next.js.
• Exposure to Azure or Google Cloud.
• Experience building mobile-friendly web applications.
