Full Stack Engineer - FinTech Platform

About the Role

Revley is seeking a talented Full Stack Engineer to join our innovative fintech startup. As a Full Stack Engineer, you will play a crucial role in building the operating system for high-scale commerce, processing real money every day. This is a unique opportunity to work remotely and contribute to a platform that empowers subscription brands with ownership of their payment tokens. Your code will go live to merchants processing between $50K and $5M+ in monthly recurring revenue (MRR).

What You'll Do

• Build and maintain payment processor integrations using a strategy-pattern architecture (Stripe, Adyen, NMI, Airwallex, Braintree, Authorize.net).
• Develop checkout flows for credit card, Apple Pay, Google Pay, and PayPal with client-side tokenization via PCI Level 1 vault.
• Implement subscription billing logic, including CIT and MIT transaction flows, auth holds, captures, refunds, and voids.
• Design webhook consumers to normalize async events from multiple processors into a unified internal event model.
• Write clean, tested TypeScript across NestJS backend and Next.js frontend.
• Build Shopify integrations using Admin API (GraphQL) and Storefront API.
• Optimize checkout latency with a target of sub-5-second checkout.
• Implement and maintain GitHub Actions CI/CD and end-to-end testing on staging branches.

Requirements

• Strong experience with Next.js, NestJS, and TypeScript.
• Proficiency in SQL and PostgreSQL (bonus: Supabase).
• Familiarity with Git and GitHub (PRs, branching, code review).
• Experience with REST APIs and webhook-driven architectures.
• Entry-level experience as a Full Stack Engineer with a focus on remote work.

Nice to Have

• Background in payment/e-commerce systems.
• Experience with integrated payment processors (e.g., Stripe, Adyen, Shopify Payments).
• Understanding of tokenization, PCI compliance, and auth/capture flows.
• Experience building checkout flows for e-commerce platforms.
• Familiarity with Shopify API (Admin, Storefront, webhooks).
