Director of Enterprise Architecture - Remote

About the Role

We are seeking a Director of Enterprise Architecture to join our team in a remote capacity. In this pivotal role, you will lead our technology transformation initiatives, shaping the enterprise architecture strategy and leveraging AI to enhance operational efficiency. You will manage a team of specialized architects and work closely with business and technology executives to deliver measurable outcomes.

What You'll Do

• Manage, coach, and develop a team of enterprise and domain architects, fostering a culture of collaboration and innovation.
• Define and maintain the company’s Enterprise Architecture roadmap aligned with business strategy and transformation goals.
• Establish architecture principles and standards to ensure consistency across platforms and domains.
• Champion the use of AI and machine learning to streamline operations and enhance decision-making processes.
• Act as a player-coach, balancing leadership with hands-on architecture design and solution reviews.
• Drive a technology transformation integrating legacy and modern systems across various platforms.
• Establish and lead architecture review boards to embed security and compliance in solution design.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field; Master's preferred.
• 12+ years of progressive IT/architecture experience, with 5+ years in enterprise architecture leadership roles.
• Relevant professional certifications such as TOGAF, Zachman, or Cloud Architect certifications.
• Proficiency with leading Enterprise Architecture tools and diagram platforms.
• Strong ability to design AI-infused architectures that improve customer experience and operational performance.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to influence others and manage both strategic and tactical operational levels.

Nice to Have

• Deep expertise across multiple domains including CRM, ERP, and AI/ML.
• Experience with AI/ML platforms and Natural Language Processing.
• Strong analytical, planning, and budgeting skills.
