Full-Stack Engineer - Affiliate Marketing Platform

About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Full-Stack Engineer to join our dynamic team at Awin. As a Full-Stack Engineer, you will play a crucial role in enhancing our Affiliate Marketing platform. This is a remote position, allowing you to work from anywhere while contributing to a significant project that impacts our business and customers.

What You'll Do

• Collaborate with a cross-functional team to design and build solutions from scratch.
• Write clean, secure, and well-tested code while following best practices.
• Engage in agile methodologies and advocate for technical improvements.
• Convert user stories into technical solutions in collaboration with Product Managers.
• Conduct thorough code reviews and maintain CI/CD pipelines.
• Utilize your expertise in technologies such as Java/Spring, AWS Lambda, and NodeJS.
• Work with both relational and non-relational databases, including SQL and MongoDB.
• Participate in retrospectives, planning, and development sessions.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of hands-on experience in software engineering roles.
• Strong understanding of OOP and SOLID principles.
• Experience with streaming and queuing solutions like Kafka or SQS.
• Familiarity with version control systems, preferably Git.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment.
• Exposure to agile processes, particularly Scrum.
• Experience designing and implementing RESTful APIs within a microservices architecture.
• Passion for writing elegant code and a desire to improve continuously.

Nice to Have

• Experience with monitoring and maintaining production applications.
• Familiarity with web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and modern frontend frameworks (ideally Angular).
• Experience working with event-driven architectures at scale.
