Freelance Senior Project Manager - Electrical Engineering Remote

About the Role

Requisimus is seeking an experienced Freelance Senior Project Manager to lead complex projects in wind energy technology. This remote position offers the opportunity to manage two interconnected projects focused on developing grid-forming inverters. As a Freelance Senior Project Manager, you will coordinate with internal and external partners, manage budgets, schedules, and quality, and conduct risk management and regular reporting. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a dynamic environment and is passionate about renewable energy.

What You'll Do

• Lead and manage two interconnected projects in the field of wind energy technology.
• Coordinate with internal teams and external partners to ensure project success.
• Oversee project budgets, schedules, and quality assurance.
• Conduct risk management assessments and provide regular project updates.
• Present project outcomes and updates to the management board.

Requirements

• A degree in Electrical/Energy Engineering or a related field.
• Practical knowledge in electrical engineering, particularly in power electronics.
• Several years of project management experience, ideally in wind energy or software.
• Familiarity with electrical engineering and project management tools.
• Fluency in German and English, with strong communication and leadership skills.
• Willingness to travel to Aurich/Bremen, up to 4 days per month.

Nice to Have

• Experience in managing renewable energy projects.
• Knowledge of agile project management methodologies.
• Certification in project management (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2).
