What You'll Do

• Provide accurate transcription and annotations for various subtitles, ensuring high-quality output.
• Utilize subtitling software such as Subtitle Edit, Aegisub, or CaptionHub to create time-aligned, verbatim transcriptions.
• Maintain strict attention to detail, spotting errors in grammar, punctuation, and timing.
• Conduct independent research to verify proper nouns, historical dates, and specialized terminology.
• Follow evolving client style guides to ensure consistency across large-scale projects.

Requirements

• Native fluency in Hindi with an impeccable grasp of grammar, spelling, and punctuation.
• Experience with subtitling software and technical requirements.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to spot errors in transcription.
• Experience in creating annotations/tags following detailed instructions.
• Ability to perform quality control and maintain consistency across projects.

Nice to Have

• Familiarity with data annotation file formats, specifically DFXP.
• Experience with live captioning.
