FP&A Intern - Remote Opportunity

About the Role

We are looking for a passionate FP&A Intern to join our dynamic team at Deale. This FP&A Intern role offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in financial planning and analysis while working in a fast-paced FinTech environment. You will support our financial planning processes and contribute to strategic decision-making, all while working remotely or in a hybrid model from our modern Barcelona office.

What You'll Do

• Assist in executing financial planning processes, including annual budgeting and monthly forecasting.
• Support the preparation of monthly and quarterly financial reports for management.
• Coordinate with external accounting teams during monthly close and results analysis.
• Analyze variances, identify risks and opportunities, and propose actionable recommendations.
• Design and maintain financial dashboards and key performance indicators (KPIs).
• Assist in cash flow management and treasury control.
• Collaborate on financial improvement and optimization initiatives.
• Support legal and compliance functions in coordination with external advisors.
• Act as a liaison with banks when necessary.
• Coordinate with the sales team and participate in commercial objectives.

Requirements

• 0-2 years of experience in financial controlling, investment banking, private equity/venture capital, or consulting.
• Advanced Excel skills are essential.
• Strong analytical skills and critical thinking abilities.
• Ability to understand Deale's business model and strategic objectives.
• Languages: Native Spanish, intermediate English; Catalan is a plus.
