Founding Full Stack Engineer - Tech Lead (Remote Option)

About the Role

We are seeking a Founding Full Stack Engineer - Tech Lead to join our innovative team. This role offers a unique opportunity to lead and shape high-impact products in a fast-scaling enterprise AI company. As a Full Stack Engineer remote, you will have the chance to build and lead core systems across data pipelines, user workflows, and platform UX.

What You'll Do

• Own features end-to-end (design, build, ship, maintain) as a Founding Full Stack Engineer remote.
• Build data-intensive AI products used by enterprise customers.
• Work across backend systems and frontend product surfaces.
• Set technical standards and mentor engineers.
• Collaborate closely with product, design, and leadership teams.
• Help define architecture as the company scales.

Requirements

• Senior/Lead-level full-stack engineer with deep TypeScript experience.
• Backend experience in Python or Go.
• Frontend experience in React or modern JavaScript.
• Proven experience in 0→1 or early-stage startup environments.
• Strong ownership mindset; has led projects or teams.
• Experience shipping production, enterprise-grade systems.

Nice to Have

• Founding-engineer or early-stage leadership background.
• Comfortable with ambiguity and fast decision-making.
• Product-minded; understands business impact, not just code.
• Willing and able to be onsite in San Francisco 3 days/week.
