Finance Operations Lead - Remote Role at Innovative Robotics Company

About the Role

Are you ready to take on a challenging role as a Finance Operations Lead in a dynamic and innovative robotics company? This Finance Operations Lead remote position at Nomagic is an exciting opportunity for someone passionate about finance and technology. You will be responsible for overseeing all transactional finance processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in accounts payable, accounts receivable, and treasury operations.

What You'll Do

• Manage vendor payments and customer billing, ensuring smooth financial operations.
• Oversee the day-to-day operation of our treasury stack, acting as the primary operational finance partner to external accountants and internal stakeholders.
• Own the end-to-end accounts payable process, including vendor master data maintenance, invoice processing, approvals, and reconciliation.
• Coordinate with external accountants on monthly AP close and cut-off procedures.
• Implement and monitor AP controls, ensuring compliance with expense policies.
• Drive the accounts receivable process, including customer invoicing, collections, and cash application.
• Process payment batches, monitor cash positions, and coordinate foreign exchange transactions.
• Document standard operating procedures for all transactional finance processes and build training materials.

Requirements

• 5–8 years of progressive finance operations experience, ideally within hardware, manufacturing, robotics, or venture-backed SaaS/RaaS companies.
• Proven ownership of AP, AR, and treasury operations in a multi-entity or international business environment.
• Strong experience with modern treasury and spend management tools.
• Solid understanding of accounting fundamentals: accruals, cut-offs, reconciliations, and GL coding.
• Hands-on Excel skills and experience with ERP systems.
• Fluent in English and Polish; both are required for this role.

Nice to Have

• Experience implementing or managing invoicing systems or finance workflow tools.
• Prior experience in a high-growth startup or scale-up environment.
• Familiarity with milestone-based or subscription revenue models.
