Trainee Administrator - Entry Level Remote Position

What You'll Do
- Become familiar with the company policies and processes.
- Demonstrate a willingness to gain knowledge and understanding of the funds and structures the company administers.
- Correspond and build positive relationships with clients and service providers over the phone and by email, maintaining high levels of customer service.
- Familiarize yourself with key material agreements and legal documentation.
- Carry out day-to-day administration duties such as regulatory filings, investor correspondence including distribution of call and distribution notices, and much more.
- Assist with company secretarial duties, such as organizing/attending board meetings, writing minutes, and arranging the signing of documents with board directors.
- Perform treasury tasks, such as preparing payments, monitoring incoming funds, and assisting with the opening of new bank accounts.
- Assist with the onboarding of new clients and entities, ensuring all processes are followed.
- Create and maintain statutory registers, investor contact details, and administrative trackers.
- Actively monitor relevant mailboxes and identify priority tasks to be completed.
- Answer the phone and direct calls to the appropriate person in a professional manner.
- Maintain an organized work list and inbox with assistance from your line manager.
- Work as part of a team and communicate with your team members and line manager daily.
- Perform any ad-hoc duties as necessary.
Requirements
- Educated to at least ‘A’ level standard or equivalent, preferably.
- No prior knowledge in this field is required, making this an ideal entry-level role.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work as part of a team and independently.
- Organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Willingness to learn and develop new skills.
Nice to Have
- Experience in customer service or administrative roles.
- Basic understanding of fund administration or financial services.
