Senior Security Engineer - Remote Opportunity

About the Role

We are seeking a Senior Security Engineer to join our dynamic team at BrainRocket. As a Senior Security Engineer, you will play a crucial role in safeguarding our infrastructure and ensuring the security of our innovative products.

What You'll Do

• Manage security systems including DLP, XDR, and Network VPN gateways.
• Implement and maintain security control policies to enhance overall security.
• Continuously monitor network activity and system loads to identify potential threats.
• Respond to security incidents and provide support to the SOC team.
• Prepare technical documentation and create user instructions for security software.
• Participate in post-incident reviews and propose enhancements to security configurations.

Requirements

• 5 years of experience in IT infrastructure administration or information security roles.
• Advanced administration of macOS, Windows, and Linux operating systems.
• Understanding of networking fundamentals, including IP networking and routing.
• Basic knowledge of regulatory requirements such as ISO27001 and GDPR.
• Experience with EDR/XDR platforms and enterprise VPN solutions.

Nice to Have

• Proficiency in scripting languages like Bash, PowerShell, or Python.
• Experience with IDS/IPS solutions and security tools like PaloAlto.
