Enterprise Application Support Specialist - Remote Opportunity
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Enterprise Application Support Specialist to join our team remotely. In this role, you will embrace ownership as you contribute to end-to-end solution delivery, supporting local teams and integrating new digital assets. You will be part of a dynamic environment that processes over a billion transactions annually across our extensive network of convenience stores. What You'll Do
- Provide L3 support across distributed geography for critical enterprise-grade applications.
- Analyze logs and perform root cause analysis to resolve issues effectively.
- Build complex SQL logic and ensure optimal performance of data warehousing solutions.
- Utilize Python programming skills to enhance application functionality and support.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams following Agile methodologies to deliver high-quality solutions.
- Engage in CI/CD deployment processes using GitLab to streamline application updates.
- Work shifts as required to support critical applications, ensuring minimal downtime.
- Contribute to a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the team.
Requirements
- 7-10 years of combined experience in enterprise application support and maintenance.
- Proficient in Python programming and strong SQL knowledge.
- Experience in data analysis and data warehousing.
- Familiarity with CI/CD deployment methodologies and GitLab.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field; a Master's degree is a plus.
- Ability to work effectively within a distributed team environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive attitude towards challenges.
- Must be willing to work shifts for supporting critical applications.
