Engineering Manager - Remote Position at Anchorage Digital

About the Role

At Anchorage Digital, we are seeking an Engineering Manager to lead our Atlas team in a remote capacity. This role is pivotal as we build the world’s most advanced digital asset platform for institutions to participate in crypto. As the Engineering Lead, you will own the technical vision and execution for Atlas while developing a high-performing team that ships impactful software at scale.

What You'll Do

• Lead a critical engineering team at the intersection of crypto innovation and institutional-grade infrastructure.
• Drive broad expertise across engineering domains, contributing to Anchorage's technical objectives.
• Manage complex, ambiguous problems and achieve innovative breakthroughs.
• Collaborate with product, business, and engineering leadership to shape what we build and how we build it.
• Own the technical output of the team, ensuring alignment with company objectives.

Requirements

• 12+ years of relevant engineering experience, including significant experience leading and scaling engineering teams.
• A track record of successfully managing medium to large teams with significant impact.
• Experience leading through ambiguity and translating business strategy into actionable plans.
• Strong cross-functional communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders.
• Real-world experience building complex distributed systems, preferably with Go.

Nice to Have

• Experience in crypto, blockchain, or fintech infrastructure at scale.
• Background in the finance industry and traditional finance settlement operations.
• Professional experience with Go/Rust/TypeScript/Solidity.
