Energy Network Operations Specialist - Remote

About the Role

We are seeking an Energy Network Operations Specialist to join our dynamic team at Gruppo TEA. This remote position is ideal for individuals looking to make a significant impact in the energy sector while working from the comfort of their home. As an Energy Network Operations Specialist, you will be responsible for overseeing various operational activities related to energy distribution networks, ensuring efficiency and compliance with regulatory standards.

What You'll Do

• Execute operational activities at customer sites, including activations, terminations, and reactivations due to non-payment.
• Verify the work performed by contractors responsible for the installation and scheduled replacement of heat meters, including material preparation and delivery.
• Conduct work orders for the verification and maintenance of heat meters.
• Perform site visits to assess the technical feasibility of new connections to the district heating network.
• Manage administrative processes related to permits for public land occupation and disturbances.
• Oversee the activities of contractors involved in the installation of new district heating pipes and substations.
• Handle routine and emergency maintenance interventions on user systems, including telecontrol equipment.
• Respond to emergency calls for safety measures at user systems and manage water or steam leaks from the heating network.
• Maintain documentation related to registration and reporting obligations under ARERA regulations regarding the quality of the heating service.

Requirements

• Technical diploma or qualification in a relevant field.
• Minimum experience in a similar role within public or private companies.
• Possession of a steam generator operator license is preferred.
• Strong teamwork skills, proactivity, flexibility, and problem-solving abilities.

• Experience with energy efficiency and renewable energy projects.
• Familiarity with regulatory compliance in the energy sector.
• Knowledge of telecontrol systems and their applications in energy management.
