Electrical Maintenance Supervisor - Remote Opportunity
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Electrical Maintenance Supervisor to join our team at NG Bailey, with the opportunity to work remotely. This role is pivotal in overseeing the maintenance operations at the Drake Circus Shopping Centre in Plymouth, a bustling environment with high foot traffic and diverse retail and leisure occupiers. As an Electrical Maintenance Supervisor, you will lead a team of technicians, ensuring that all electrical and mechanical maintenance tasks are executed efficiently. What You'll Do
- Lead and supervise a team of six on-site technicians, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.
- Perform hands-on electrical and mechanical maintenance as required, demonstrating your technical expertise.
- Ensure that reactive and planned maintenance tasks are completed in line with contract KPIs.
- Oversee the delivery of planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and ensure compliance with statutory regulations.
- Monitor and maintain building systems, including BMS, HVAC, pumps, and control systems.
- Conduct regular site inspections and safety audits to uphold NG Bailey standards.
- Coordinate and supervise specialist subcontractors when necessary.
- Maintain accurate maintenance documentation and client system updates, producing reports and checklists using Microsoft Word and Excel.
Requirements
- NVQ / City & Guilds Level 3 in Electrical Installation or equivalent.
- 18th Edition Wiring Regulations certification.
- Proven experience in delivering electrical and mechanical PPM programmes.
- Strong technical knowledge of AHUs, HVAC systems, heating and ventilation plants, and emergency generators.
- Good working knowledge of BMS and emergency lighting systems is desirable.
- Flexible, proactive, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
