Ecosystem Sales Manager - Remote Role for GitLab

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Ecosystem Sales Manager to join GitLab in a fully remote capacity. As an Ecosystem Sales Manager, you will lead major ecosystem partner initiatives and develop long-term strategic plans for ecosystem partner growth. This role is pivotal in influencing key strategic decisions and enhancing ecosystem partner performance.

What You'll Do

  • Lead major ecosystem partner initiatives, developing long-term strategic plans for growth.
  • Engage extensively with senior internal teams and external major partners.
  • Coordinate the involvement of GitLab team members, including sales leadership, to meet sales targets.
  • Build and maintain relationships with the GitLab field sales organization.
  • Design and execute comprehensive joint business plans with partners, including account mapping and go-to-market strategies.
  • Identify and support regional-specific demand generation activities with strategic partners.
  • Contribute to quarterly business reviews and participate in annual planning within the Ecosystem organization.
  • Prepare presentations, territory plans, and reports as required.

Requirements

  • Experience in selling software development tools and/or application lifecycle management solutions.
  • Strong network across the partner ecosystem in the Italy region.
  • Expertise in Partner Ecosystems and the Cloud market.
  • Experience with B2B sales and open-source solutions.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills in English and Italian.
  • Ability to travel up to 50% and comply with the company’s travel policy.
