Director of Medicaid Plan Marketing - Remote Opportunity

About the Role

We are seeking a Director of Medicaid Plan Marketing to join Elevance Health in a remote capacity. This role is pivotal in shaping our marketing strategies for Medicaid plans, ensuring compliance with state requirements while driving member engagement and retention. You will lead initiatives that enhance our outreach and community relations, making a significant impact on our members' lives.

What You'll Do

• Coordinate and direct Medicaid growth and engagement initiatives, ensuring alignment with state contractual requirements.
• Develop and implement community relations strategies to enhance member engagement and retention.
• Drive the creation of value-added benefits that improve quality outcomes for our members.
• Collaborate with Elevance Health businesses across Texas to foster growth and innovation.
• Audit website and vendor relationships, providing oversight and performance management.
• Implement effective tracking mechanisms for marketing activities and productivity metrics.
• Conduct staff training and make recommendations for product modifications based on market research.
• Prepare presentations on marketing and outreach programs for senior management.

Requirements

• BA/BS degree with a minimum of 8 years of related experience, including leadership roles.
• Experience with the Texas Medicaid population (STAR, CHIP, etc.) is preferred.
• Managed Care Health Plan experience is a plus.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
• Project management certification is preferred.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).

Nice to Have

• Master's degree in a relevant field.
• Experience in developing member retention and loyalty programs.
• Familiarity with digital marketing strategies and tools.
