Project Manager - Software Solutions for Financial Institutions

About the Role

We are looking for a Project Manager - Software Solutions for Financial Institutions to join our dynamic team at ClariLab. In this role, you will lead complex software projects in the financial sector, helping clients optimize their KYC processes. As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for steering software implementation projects for international clients, ensuring that they meet their compliance needs effectively. This position offers the opportunity to work remotely while making a significant impact in the RegTech industry.

What You'll Do

• Manage and implement software projects for international clients in the financial sector.
• Gather, analyze, and document client requirements to ensure tailored solutions.
• Advise banks and financial institutions on optimizing their KYC/AML processes.
• Collaborate closely with internal teams (product development, support, sales) to deliver customized solutions.
• Plan, coordinate, and conduct workshops and training sessions for clients.
• Take responsibility for project quality, budget, and timelines.

Requirements

• Completed degree in Business, IT, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Several years of experience as a Project Manager, Solution Consultant, or Business Consultant.
• Experience in the software environment, IT, business process automation, or digitalization.
• Experience in the finance sector or in compliance/KYC/AML is a plus.
• Strong analytical thinking and the ability to implement complex processes systematically.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills in both German and English.
• Flexibility for occasional on-site project meetings or workshops with clients.
• A high level of ownership, self-starter mentality, and enthusiasm for bringing topics to implementation.

Nice to Have

• Knowledge of regulatory requirements in the financial sector.
• Experience with project management tools and methodologies.
• Familiarity with compliance software solutions.
