Director of Digital Marketing - Remote Role
About the Role
EngageCX is seeking a Director of Digital Marketing to lead our internal digital marketing efforts in the health insurance sector. This remote role will focus on developing strategies that drive customer acquisition and retention across Medicare and adjacent markets. You will report directly to the COO and take ownership of a significant marketing budget, ensuring the growth of our Marketing Solutions business.
What You'll Do
- Oversee and execute the digital marketing strategy for Medicare and related verticals, managing a budget of $5-$10M+ annually.
- Optimize full-funnel performance, focusing on metrics such as cost per call, cost per opportunity, and cost per submission.
- Conduct structured experimentation including market research and creative testing to refine our marketing approach.
- Create compelling ad copy and visual assets by collaborating with internal and external creative teams.
- Develop advanced analytics requirements to provide transparency into marketing performance and communicate results to executive stakeholders.
- Manage financial aspects including budget planning, variance analysis, and corrective actions.
- Ensure compliance with regulations in advertising content and maintain proper business practices.
- Recruit, train, and lead a growing internal marketing team.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field; advanced degree preferred.
- 7-10+ years of experience in performance-based digital advertising, particularly in insurance or high-volume lead generation.
- Proven track record managing significant marketing budgets with accountability for business outcomes.
- Expertise in acquisition channels such as Google, Meta, and Microsoft/Bing, with experience in TikTok and native advertising being a plus.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Google Analytics, and A/B testing tools.
- Experience integrating marketing performance with CRM and telephony systems.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to mentor and develop a small team.
- High ownership and resilience, comfortable with ambiguity.

- Experience with creative testing engines and rapid iteration based on insights.
