DevOps Engineer - Remote Opportunity with Growth Potential

About the Role

We are seeking a talented DevOps Engineer to join our innovative team at Randstad Digital. This DevOps Engineer remote position offers the opportunity to work with cutting-edge technologies while maintaining a flexible work environment. You will play a crucial role in managing and optimizing our digital services and systems integration.

What You'll Do

• Manage application infrastructure, including installation, configuration, and maintenance of Microsoft environments.
• Orchestrate and manage containerized environments using Docker and Kubernetes for workload management.
• Administer Windows servers and related services such as IIS, Active Directory, and SQL Server.
• Implement automation pipelines for software releases and optimize processes through scripting (PowerShell, Bash).
• Analyze application performance, manage logs, and troubleshoot incidents at levels two and three.
• Collaborate with development teams to facilitate the adoption of microservices and cloud-native architectures.

Requirements

• Proven experience in administering Microsoft Server operating systems.
• Strong knowledge of Docker (image creation and management) and Kubernetes (deployment, scalability, pod management).
• Familiarity with infrastructure management on cloud platforms, preferably Azure.
• Ability to develop scripts for automating system tasks.

Nice to Have

• Experience with CI/CD tools and practices.
• Knowledge of security best practices in cloud environments.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies.
