We are seeking a Data Science Engineering Manager to join our team in a fully remote capacity. What You'll Do

- Design, develop, and review scalable data solutions using SQL, Python, and PySpark.
- Collaborate with data engineering teams to build and optimize ETL pipelines in cloud-based environments.
- Translate complex data into clear, actionable insights for stakeholders and leadership.
- Serve as the primary technical point of contact for cross-functional teams and external partners.
- Drive best practices in data architecture, documentation, testing, and deployment.
- Monitor project performance, remove blockers, and continuously improve workflows and processes.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field.
- 8+ years of experience in data science or data engineering, including at least 2 years in a leadership or management role.
- Strong experience working with healthcare datasets such as Medicaid or Medicare claims is highly preferred.
- Advanced proficiency in SQL, Python, and PySpark for large-scale data processing and analysis.
- Hands-on experience with modern data platforms such as Databricks and cloud environments (e.g., AWS).
- Solid understanding of data engineering principles, ETL processes, and data modeling techniques.
- Familiarity with software development best practices including version control and CI/CD pipelines.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Strong problem-solving mindset with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

- Experience with machine learning frameworks and libraries.
- Knowledge of data privacy regulations and compliance, particularly GDPR.
