About the Role
Join Mindrift as a Data Science AI Trainer and take part in shaping the future of AI through innovative projects. This remote Data Science AI Trainer position allows you to leverage your expertise in data science to design and implement complex computational problems that enhance the capabilities of Generative AI models.
What You'll Do
- Design original computational data science problems that simulate real-world analytical workflows across various industries, including telecom, finance, government, e-commerce, and healthcare.
- Create problems requiring Python programming to solve, utilizing libraries such as pandas, numpy, scipy, sklearn, statsmodels, matplotlib, and seaborn.
- Ensure that problems are computationally intensive, requiring significant time and effort to solve, thereby enhancing the training of AI models.
- Develop problems that necessitate non-trivial reasoning chains in areas such as data processing, statistical analysis, feature engineering, predictive modeling, and insight extraction.
- Base problems on real business challenges, including customer analytics, risk assessment, fraud detection, forecasting, optimization, and operational efficiency.
- Design end-to-end problems that cover the complete data science pipeline, from data ingestion to deployment considerations.
- Incorporate big data processing scenarios that require scalable computational approaches.
- Document problem statements clearly, providing realistic business contexts and verified correct answers.
Requirements
- A Master's or PhD Degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related quantitative field.
- At least 5 years of hands-on data science experience with a proven business impact.
- A portfolio of completed projects and publications showcasing real-world problem-solving capabilities.
- Proficiency in Python programming for data science, including libraries such as pandas, numpy, scipy, and scikit-learn.
- Expertise in statistical analysis and machine learning with a deep understanding of algorithms and their practical applications.
- Proficiency in SQL and database operations for data manipulation and analysis.
- Experience with Generative AI technologies, including LLMs, RAG, prompt engineering, and vector databases.
- Good understanding of MLOps practices and model deployment workflows.
- Knowledge of modern frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, and LangChain.
- Advanced level of English (C1) or above.
