D365 Finance and Operations Technical Engineer - Remote

About the Role

Join us as a D365 Finance and Operations Technical Engineer in a fully remote position! As our company expands into new markets and develops cutting-edge technologies, we are looking for a talented individual to help us enhance our business applications strategy. In this role, you will be pivotal in administering and providing technical expertise for Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations (D365 F&O), ensuring that our implementation projects run smoothly and that our business users receive top-notch support.

What You'll Do

• Provide technical expertise for projects within the Business Application portfolio, specifically focusing on Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations.
• Ensure product quality for end users by overseeing user requirements and developing solutions that adhere to established standards.
• Participate in creating functional requirements and diagrams for business processes, contributing to the overall strategy of our future business applications.
• Conduct gap analysis to identify areas for improvement and optimization.
• Engage in regular meetings with internal and external clients to align on project goals and deliverables.
• Expand your knowledge and expertise in the Business Applications portfolio continuously.
• Assist in data migration using various technologies and manage RSAT while participating in upgrades of various Business Applications.
• Perform quality control over customizations from external partners and take ownership of development, deployment, and change management using DevOps and Jira.
• Develop integrations between D365 tools and other finance ecosystems, managing security for D365 Finance and Operations through the Power Platform Admin Center.

Requirements

• Experience developing solutions and integrations for D365 Finance and Operations (X++/.NET).
• Understanding of common design patterns for D365 Finance and Operations.
• Experience in implementing various Business Applications and familiarity with Azure DevOps, LCS, RSAT, SQL, and PPAC.
• Strong system analysis and troubleshooting skills, with an understanding of cloud-based ERPs.
• Experience with creating documentation and diagrams of customer processes, with advanced knowledge of UML diagrams.
• Proficiency in SSRS and Power BI Reporting.
• Familiarity with ERP implementation methodologies and the Power Platform and its components.
• A bachelor’s degree is required, with a master’s degree preferred.
