About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated Customer Support Representative to join our team remotely and help us achieve our mission of making Africa the first cashless continent. In this role, you will serve as the primary point of contact for customers, providing them with world-class service and support. Your commitment to delivering exceptional customer experiences will be crucial as we continue to grow and expand our services across the continent.

What You'll Do

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for customers, providing them with world-class service and support.
  • Handle customer inquiries and complaints professionally and courteously, escalating issues as necessary.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of Wave products to assist customers effectively.
  • Utilize active listening skills to understand customer needs and provide tailored solutions.
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements

  • Fluency in French, Haoussa, Zarma, and other local languages.
  • 3+ years of experience in a comparable position (Call center, Customer Service).
  • Ability to work with flexible schedules.
  • Demonstrated tenacity and a willingness to go the distance to get things done.
  • Strong sense of responsibility and excellent initiative.
  • Detail-oriented with a commitment to achieving excellence.
  • Client-oriented with strong interpersonal skills.
  • Experience in Customer Service (Mobile wallet or Customer Service Company) is a plus.
