Customer Success Manager - Remote (DACH Region)

About the Role

We are seeking a Customer Success Manager to join our team at GitLab. This remote Customer Success Manager role focuses on the DACH region, where you will partner with our customers to ensure their success and satisfaction with our platform. GitLab is the intelligent orchestration platform for DevSecOps, trusted by over 50 million users, including more than 50% of the Fortune 100. In this role, you will play a crucial part in helping customers achieve their desired business outcomes.

What You'll Do

  • Partner with customers to turn their desired business outcomes into actionable objectives.
  • Guide customers through the GitLab platform, utilizing best practices and use cases.
  • Understand the customer journey and assist in future adoption strategies.
  • Act as the liaison for GitLab, addressing questions, issues, or escalations.
  • Collaborate with GitLab Support, Product Management, and other teams as necessary.
  • Manage a portfolio of assigned customers, focusing on increasing adoption and ensuring overall satisfaction.
  • Stay informed about GitLab releases and updates to provide the best support.

Requirements

  • Understanding of Git and typical branching strategies.
  • Knowledge of the software development lifecycle and development pipeline.
  • Experience with continuous integration, continuous deployment, and DevSecOps.
  • Prior experience in Customer Success or a related field.
  • Exceptional communication, organizational, and presentation skills.
  • Detail-oriented with strong analytical abilities.
  • Project management experience and skills.
  • Fluent in German.
