Customer Consultant - Remote Opportunity

About the Role

We are looking for a passionate Customer Consultant to join our team at Encore Capital Group. This Customer Consultant remote position allows you to support customers in achieving financial wellbeing while working from the comfort of your home. As a Customer Consultant, you will engage with clients through inbound and outbound calls, providing exceptional customer service and solutions tailored to their needs.

What You'll Do

• Engage with customers on inbound and outbound calls, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.
• Support potentially vulnerable customers with empathy and care, guiding them towards financial stability.
• Participate in a comprehensive 3-week training program to equip you with the necessary skills for success.
• Work collaboratively with your team to achieve service goals and maintain a positive work environment.
• Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues efficiently while adhering to company policies.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a customer service role, preferably in retail, hospitality, or care.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to empathize with customers.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including some weekends.
• Willingness to undergo a credit check and background verification.
• A proactive attitude and a desire to develop your career in customer service.

Nice to Have

• Experience in a call center environment.
• Knowledge of financial services or debt management.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
