Core Java Developer - Remote Opportunity

About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Core Java Developer remote to join our dynamic team at A2G Consulting. This role is perfect for those with strong experience in J2EE and Spring Boot, and fluency in Dutch. As a Core Java Developer, you will design, develop, and maintain scalable backend systems, contributing to modern applications in a collaborative environment.

What You'll Do

• Develop and maintain Java-based applications using Core Java, J2EE, and Spring Boot.
• Build RESTful APIs and microservices to enhance application functionality.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including QA, DevOps, and Product Management.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize application performance.
• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following best practices.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• 6-8 years of strong experience in Core Java, J2EE, and Spring Boot.
• Experience with REST APIs and microservices architecture.
• Familiarity with SQL and NoSQL databases.
• Understanding of Agile methodologies.
• Fluent in Dutch (mandatory).
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.

Nice to Have

• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure).
• Knowledge of containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Previous experience in a hybrid work environment.
