Contract UI/​UX Designer - Remote Opportunity

About the Role

We are seeking a talented Contract UI/UX Designer to join our team remotely. This UI/UX Designer remote position offers you the chance to work on exciting projects while enjoying the flexibility of remote work. You will be responsible for the entire design process, from wireframes to polished user interfaces, across various web platforms and SaaS products.

What You'll Do

• Design Wireframes and Prototypes: Translate product requirements and user flows into wireframes and interactive prototypes that effectively communicate structure and logic.
• Deliver High-Fidelity UI: Create polished, production-ready screen designs in Figma, ensuring all aspects such as spacing, typography, and responsive behavior are meticulously accounted for.
• Build and Maintain Design Systems: Develop scalable component libraries in Figma to ensure design consistency across products and provide developers with reliable references.
• Conduct UX Research and Usability Reviews: Identify friction points in existing products and recommend improvements based on user experience principles.
• Collaborate With Developers: Work closely with frontend developers to ensure design intent is preserved during implementation, providing clear specifications and annotated handoffs.

Requirements

• Production-Ready Experience: You should have a portfolio showcasing interfaces that have shipped, particularly in web apps or SaaS products.
• Design Tools: Strong expertise in Figma is essential, including proficiency in auto layout, component variants, and prototyping.
• SaaS and Web Application Design: Experience designing complex product surfaces such as dashboards and multi-step workflows.
• Responsive Design: You should design with developer constraints in mind, understanding how layouts adapt across various screen sizes.
• UX Thinking: Familiarity with information architecture, user flows, and error states is crucial.

Nice-to-Have

• Basic understanding of HTML/CSS to communicate feasibility with developers.
• Experience in motion and micro-interaction design.
• Familiarity with accessibility standards (WCAG).
