Contract Senior Content Designer - Remote Opportunity

About the Role

We are seeking a Contract Senior Content Designer to join our dynamic team at Fueled. This remote position is open to applicants located in North America, particularly those aligned with North American time zones. In this role, you will bring clarity to complex product experiences through strategic content design.

What You'll Do

• Lead content design across various client engagements, ensuring user-centered experiences through effective content strategy, UX writing, and information architecture.
• Translate ambiguous product and business goals into structured content models and scalable content systems.
• Write and adapt content to meet diverse client needs, balancing brand voice with user experience and business objectives.
• Collaborate closely with product designers, engineers, and stakeholders to integrate content seamlessly into the product development process.
• Define and deliver key content artifacts such as audits, taxonomies, and voice and tone guidelines, while facilitating workshops to align teams on strategy.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience in content design, UX writing, or content strategy, preferably in an agency environment.
• Ability to thrive in fast-paced, multi-client settings while navigating ambiguity.
• Strategic approach to content, with experience in content modeling and information architecture.
• Familiarity with CMS platforms and how to structure and manage content effectively.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to align teams and articulate content decisions clearly to clients and stakeholders.

Nice to Have

• Experience in leading workshops or training sessions on content strategy.
• Familiarity with design thinking methodologies.
• Knowledge of SEO best practices and how they integrate with content design.
