Chief Technology Officer - Financial Services (Remote)

About the Role

We are seeking a visionary Chief Technology Officer (CTO) to lead our technology strategy in the financial services sector. This remote Chief Technology Officer role offers a unique opportunity to shape the technology landscape of one of Southeast Asia's most dynamic capital markets platforms.

What You'll Do

• Define and execute the long-term technology strategy and architecture roadmap aligned with business growth and expansion plans.
• Oversee the development and operation of core financial systems, including trading platforms, market data infrastructure, and risk and compliance systems.
• Ensure technology platforms are secure, scalable, and capable of supporting high transaction volumes and low-latency trading environments.
• Establish best practices in software engineering, DevOps, system reliability, and cybersecurity governance.
• Lead the development of data and analytics platforms to support trading insights and management reporting.
• Build and lead a high-performing engineering and technology organization, strengthening internal capabilities.
• Partner closely with executive leadership and the Board to support digital transformation initiatives and strategic business expansion.

Requirements

• Proven experience in CTO, Head of Technology, or equivalent senior leadership roles managing large-scale technology organizations.
• Strong background in system architecture, distributed systems, cloud infrastructure, and high-performance platform design.
• Experience working with Chinese technology ecosystems or fintech companies is highly preferred.
• Track record of building and leading high-performing engineering teams and delivering large-scale technology transformations.
• Ability to work closely with executive leadership and Boards on strategic technology initiatives.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to operate effectively in an international environment.
