Business Intelligence/​Report Developer - Remote Position

About the Role

We are looking for a Business Intelligence/Report Developer to join our team remotely. In this role, you will support Kadiak and our government customer in a critical business and IT modernization project. As a Business Intelligence/Report Developer remote, you will have the opportunity to work on multiple projects, enhancing your skills in data analytics and reporting.

What You'll Do

• Gather requirements and develop design documentation for data marts and operational reports.
• Write SQL stored procedures and develop PowerBI dashboards and reports using Report Builder.
• Assist with sprint planning and manage ongoing sprints effectively.
• Perform functional testing and data validation to ensure the accuracy of reports.
• Collaborate with a team to execute project plans and schedules.
• Create user stories, tasks, and bugs in Azure DevOps.
• Facilitate meetings with customer teams to distill requirements into actionable insights.
• Document end-user requirements and develop analytics assessments for customer teams.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of experience developing PowerBI dashboards and T-SQL stored procedures.
• Proven experience writing T-SQL for data mining and validation.
• Strong understanding of the full software development life cycle using agile methodologies.
• Experience with Microsoft Power Platform is preferred.
• Excellent communication skills to convey technical/business issues to project management.
• Ability to manage competing priorities and meet multiple deadlines.
• Experience with Azure DevOps or similar IT ALM tools.
• BS degree in Management Information Systems, Data Science, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field is preferred.

Nice to Have

• Experience with Tableau and Microsoft SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS).
• Knowledge of data modeling, data marts, and data warehouses.
• Familiarity with data gap analysis and ETL processes.
